Plinth Medical Platinum Range – 94LY Lymphoedema Treatment Chair with Column Lift

Plinth Medical are proud to introduce our next generation of the established specialist lymphoedema treatment chair.

Developed in partnership with a leading NHS Trust, this chair has been designed to allow staff easy access to all areas of the patient through innovative features offered only by this dedicated solution. Electric motors allow smooth adjustment of back-rest, tilt height and both legs; battery backup also offers peace-of-mind in the event of power failure.

MOBILE CHAIR MODE:

• The couch is electrically positioned for patient comfort.
• The shortened side rails, with their arm rests and side pads add both security and comfort for the user.
• In addition, the backrest and leg sections can be adjusted to various angles to further enhance patient comfort.

TROLLEY MODE:

• The Plinth can be quickly configured into the transport trolley mode for patient positioning during rest or recovery periods, for transport between clinics or to other locations around the hospital.
• The wheel system has a central-locking and steering facility for transport procedures in both the seated or trolley modes

CLINICIAN WRIST / ARM SUPPORT

• Unique to the 94LY, this feature allows the clinician easy access to the patient’s head and neck to safely perform head and neck manual lymph drainage (MLD).
• The wrist/arm pad provides the clinician with a cushioned support surface for use during head and neck procedures.
• The headrest is easily removable for this purpose.

TILT SEAT

• The combination of electric height, tilt and backrest operation allows various seated and semi-seated or reclined positions to be achieved.
• Such positions can be for the benefit of the patient or for achieving the required position for the treatment or procedure that they are undergoing.
