Guthrie Smith Frames – Can be Customised

These are standard Guthrie Smith type frames and or packages.

As a floor mounting configuration, it overcomes the need to fix to walls/ceilings with all the attendant problems.

There are three standard components that can be mixed & matched as required. [see accompanying drawing].

These components form a frame assembly approx 1500mm wide x 2000mm high x 2400mm long.

GS2040: Mesh Frame Top / Side Can be used for both top and/or side.

GS2010: Mesh Frame End and 1500mm x 1500mm square mesh starting approx 500mm from floor height. Can be used at either or both ends.

GS2025 Frame end support without mesh. Can be used at either or both ends.

• The frames can be assembled by bolting together on-site.
• If a side or top is not specified, we need to provide bracing for the assembly.
• The ends provide holes on the feet for user-provided floor fixings.

If you prefer a suspended type of frame, we are happy to supply the standard components and you can arrange the necessary suspension fittings.

The standard 4mm wire mesh frames have a static point load of 100kg with a uniformly spread load of 200kg, and this is assuming the mounting arrangements by the customer are suitable.

e.g. Light-duty or heavy-duty anchor screws or bolts.
